CompuMark powers White Rabbit Image Solutions to better service Chinese trademark professionals

CompuMark, a Clarivate Analytics company and a global leader in trademark research and protection, is now powering White Rabbit’s trademark image search and watch solutions available in China. White Rabbit’s 5,000+ loyal customers include intellectual property service agencies, law firms, large and medium-sized enterprises and government agencies. The new service simplifies the process of researching image trademarks by integrating CompuMark’s artificial intelligence (AI) and image recognition (IR) technology.
Forty percent of trademarks filed contain images[1]. CompuMark uses AI-powered image recognition software that applies the principles of facial recognition software to visually search artwork, images and even industrial designs. This technology simplifies the process of researching image trademarks for uniqueness and availability. It compares thousands of image trademarks and determines whether a proposed trademark logo is acceptable or if it infringes on an existing image trademark.
White Rabbit and CompuMark announced their strategic partnership a year ago and now the Chinese leading trademark data supplier is launching White Rabbit Image Solutions powered by CompuMark technology.
Jeff Roy, President, CompuMark, says: “The Chinese domestic trademark register is the largest in the world[2] and the number of trademark applications in this register continues to increase. Given the high rate of image trademarks being filed in China, and elsewhere, IR-driven solutions are now more important than ever. This technology eliminates the complexity of image-based trademark search, streamlining search and watch processes for Chinese trademark professionals.”
Li Fang, Chief Executive Officer, White Rabbit, says: “Finding similar trademarks is a crucial, yet time-consuming process, especially when it comes to image trademarks. CompuMark’s IR-technology helps improve the efficiency of our search and watch processes, providing quick and reliable visual results.”
