Envision Digital accredited by IMDA for its flagship EnOS(TM) product targeting at Smart Nation and Enterprise Transformation Opportunities
Envision Digital is on track in setting up its global headquarters and research and development centre in Singapore with the support of the Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB).
Envision Digital was recently accredited by the Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore(IMDA) for its EnOS(TM), an industry leading AIoT* Operating System. Being accredited will enable Envision Digital to be considered first by Singapore Government agencies for their Info-comm project implementations.
Accreditation@SG Digital aims to give confidence to enterprise buyers that a company’s product core functionalities and performance have been independently and rigorously evaluated by IMDA to function as per the company’s claims. It also gives certainty to the Government agencies and commercial customers of the product, in terms of the company’s ability to deliver, and its operations team and processes to support the product.
Mr Zhang Lei, CEO of Envision Digital said, “We are very honoured to be working with the Accreditation@SG Digital team from IMDA. Being IMDA-accredited is another strong testament that our flagship AIoT Operating System, the EnOS(TM), is of high quality, robust and secure. It will help boost Envision Digital’s deployment of EnOS(TM) in the Singapore Government agencies in support of the Smart Nation programme. It will also accelerate our scaling up of EnOS(TM) adoption in the global marketplace.”
In Singapore, EnOS(TM) helps the government accelerate the development of next generation IoT-based solutions in their digitalisation goals. The Government Technology Agency is using EnOS(TM) to develop an in-house device management and data acquisition system. Singapore’s Keppel Urban Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation, has also developed its Smart City Operating System based on the EnOS(TM) suite.
Besides, Envision Digital is growing its research and development centre in Singapore to reach 200 research scientists and engineers within the next few years. This R&D Centre synergises with Envision Digital’s existing network of technical centres in US, China and Europe. The R&D focus in Singapore is on AIoT technologies, smart cities, smart buildings, smart plants and weather forecast. In Q4 this year, the company plans to launch a high-resolution weather forecasting system developed by its R&D Centre in Singapore for the international market. Envision Digital is working closely with EDB and IMDA in talent acquisition and business growth.
