OTT Pay Inc. Partners with Niagara Parks to Launch Chinese Mobile Payments

Niagara Parks is pleased to announce its agreement with OTT Pay Inc. to offer Chinese mobile payment services, which will further promote Niagara Parks and the entire destination of Niagara Falls, to an emerging Chinese tourism market.
Following a competitive procurement process, OTT Pay Inc. was selected as the preferred vendor to introduce Chinese mobile payment options at Niagara Parks. The agreement was formalized with a signing ceremony between The Niagara Parks Commission and representatives of OTT Pay Inc., on March 14, 2019.
Once implemented in April and May of 2019, Niagara Parks will be able to welcome and accept the preferred payment methods used by Chinese travellers (WeChat Pay and Alipay) at its attractions, restaurants and retail stores, most notably at its newly renovated Table Rock Centre. As well, Niagara Parks will be able to leverage marketing opportunities through OTT Pay to increase the awareness of Niagara Parks and the entire destination, to the growing Chinese tourism market.
This agreement represents Niagara Parks’ commitment to growing and supporting the tourism industry in Niagara, Ontario and Canada by enhancing the experience of Chinese visitors to Niagara Parks, while increasing destination awareness within this important and continually growing tourism market.
The implementation of the new OTT Pay system in Niagara Parks coincides with the annual Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) Rendez-vous Canada trade show, which will be taking place in Toronto, Ontario this year between May 28 and May 31, 2019.
This showcase for Canadian tourism has grown to become the country’s largest and most significant international travel trade marketplace, which connects international buyers with Canadian sellers of tourism products and services. This important tourism event will allow Niagara Parks to highlight its new offerings, as well as position the newly renovated Table Rock Centre and Table Rock House Restaurant, as must-see destinations when visiting Niagara Falls.
