Univar Solutions to Distribute Axiom Foods’ Plant-Based Portfolio

Univar Inc. (NYSE: UNVR) (“Univar Solutions”), a global chemical and ingredient distributor and provider of value-added services, announced today that Axiom Foods, Inc. (“Axiom Foods”) has chosen Univar Solutions as its preferred distributor for the United States. The agreement includes the complete line of Axiom Foods rice and pea proteins and other plant-based ingredients, which are commonly found in nutritional beverages, bars, snacks, and meat analogues or extenders.
Axiom Foods provides niche vegan and allergen-friendly products to formulators as an increased number of consumers are demanding end-use products with healthier label claims. Backed by science, certifications and clinical trials, Axiom Foods is committed to delivering consistent results for its partners.
