ShelterZoom Recognized In Two Gartner Hype Cycles
The growth of Document GPS in just the past few months has been astounding. We have onboarded more companies, with a greater number of users, than ever before. A dozen different countries across an equal number of diverse verticals are now using Document GPS. This has all happened alongside our second year in a row of being recognized by Gartner, but this year we received double the recognition by being included in two of their Hype Cycles™. ShelterZoom has made a repeat appearance in the Hype Cycle for Blockchain and Web3 (2023) and made our debut on their Hype Cycle for Open-Source Software (2023). Gartner added a category this year called Web 2.5 to capture the Web3 innovations such as ours which integrate with and layer on top of Web2 platforms.

This public recognition echoes exactly what we are hearing from both new and existing clients. The need for a ‘cyber vaccine’ which protects against wire fraud, ransomware and data breaches to provide a newer level of cyberresiliency has grown significantly. You only have to look at the news to see how prevalent hacking incidents have become, yet this is just the tip of the iceberg since so many other incidents are not reported in the press. A report by Cybersecurity Ventures predicts the cost of cybercrime will reach $8 trillion in 2023 and $10.5 trillion USD annually by 2025. Document GPS provides a way to address these vulnerabilities in one click, from right inside your email. This is a brand new way to solve a huge problem. As the Gartner Hype Cycle says when describing applications in the Web 2.5 category: “the possibilities are endless”.
We will soon have several major enhancements to Document GPS to announce so stay tuned for another option for recipients to access the files you send and a few more upgrades we can’t wait to tell you about.

MicroStrategy boosts Bitcoin holdings to 214,400 BTC with $7.8m purchase
MicroStrategy has increased its Bitcoin holdings to 214,400 BTC with a recent purchase of $7.8 million worth of the cryptocurrency. This move further solidifies MicroStrategy’s position as a major institutional holder of Bitcoin and demonstrates its continued bullish outlook on the digital asset.
MicroStrategy, a publicly traded business intelligence firm, has been actively accumulating Bitcoin as part of its treasury strategy, viewing the cryptocurrency as a long-term store of value and hedge against inflation. The recent purchase of $7.8 million worth of Bitcoin adds to the company’s already substantial holdings, reaffirming its confidence in the future potential of the digital currency.
MicroStrategy’s ongoing accumulation of Bitcoin reflects a broader trend of institutional adoption and investment in the cryptocurrency space. As more companies recognize the value proposition of Bitcoin as a hedge against economic uncertainty and fiat currency devaluation, they are increasingly allocating funds to acquire and hold the digital asset.
Overall, MicroStrategy’s decision to boost its Bitcoin holdings with a $7.8 million purchase underscores the company’s conviction in the long-term viability and potential of Bitcoin as a strategic asset. This move is likely to further encourage other institutions to explore Bitcoin as a component of their investment portfolios, driving continued growth and adoption in the cryptocurrency market.
