Brock Pierce, Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation, has been appointed to Bit Digital’s board of directors. The appointment was announced on September 28, 2021, and will be effective from October 31, 2021.

Brock Pierce is an entrepreneur, artist, venture capitalist, and philanthropist. He has extensive experience of founding, advising, and investing in disruptive businesses. Pierce is the co-founder of EOS Alliance, Block.one, Blockchain Capital, Tether, and Mastercoin. He has been involved in Bitcoin mining since its genesis days.
